High Protein Salad
Healthy salad made with Zinga Fry, cucumber, cherry tomatoes, onions, lemon and olive oil. High-protein snack bowl.
Ingredient: 1 Cucumber – small sliced, 1 Tomato / cherry tomato – sliced, 1 Onion – small sliced, Zinga Fry – ½ cup, Olive oil – 2 teaspoon, Lemon – half. Black pepper – ½ teaspoon, Salt – as per taste, Fresh coriander – for garnish.
Process: Take a bowl and add cucumber, tomato and onion. Add Zinga Fry to the bowl. Drizzle olive oil and squeeze fresh lemon juice. Add black pepper and salt as per taste. Mix everything gently so the zinga stays crunchy.
Garnish: Garnish with fresh coriander leaves and serve immediately.
Bombil Fry Dal Tadka
Regular dal tadka finished with crushed Bombil Fry for smoky seafood flavor.
Ingredient: Cooked toor dal – 1 bowl, Bombil Fry – ½ cup (crushed), Garlic – 4 cloves chopped, Green chilli – 1,, Cumin seeds – ½ teaspoon, Ghee / oil – 1 tablespoon, Turmeric – pinch, Salt – as per taste, Coriander – for garnish.
Process: Heat ghee in a pan. Add cumin seeds and garlic and sauté until golden. Add green chilli and turmeric. Add cooked dal and mix well. Let the dal simmer for 3–4 minutes. Finally add crushed Bombil Fry and mix gently.
Garnish: Garnish with coriander and serve hot with rice.
Mandeli Fry Poha Mix
Simple Maharashtrian poha tossed with Mandeli Fry for extra crunch and umami.
Ingredient: Poha – 1 cup, Mandeli Fry – ½ cup, Onion – finely chopped, Green chilli – 1 chopped, Mustard seeds – ½ teaspoon, Turmeric – ¼ teaspoon, Peanuts – 2 tablespoon, Oil – 1 tablespoon, Lemon – half, Salt – as per taste, Coriander – for garnish.
Process: Wash poha lightly and keep aside. Heat oil in a pan and add mustard seeds. Add peanuts and fry till golden. Add chopped onion and green chilli and sauté for 2 minutes. Add turmeric and salt. Add poha and mix well. Finally add Mandeli Fry and mix gently.
Garnish: Squeeze lemon and garnish with coriander.
